Service Description: Non-profit organization that promotes literacy as an important part of life-long learning * Provides support to adult literacy programs and develop community partnerships with other promoters of learning in Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, and Windsor-Essex

Provides:
- Public education and literacy awareness
- Support to literacy programs
- Workshops for tutors, teachers and students
- Community planning
- Free literacy and upgrading information
- Referrals for literacy clients and volunteers
- Regular newsletters and bulletins
- A literacy resource library

Variety of approaches are used: one to one tutoring, small group study, independent study, computer-assisted programs and classroom style programs are available

Fees: $5:00 - Learner, $10:00 - Practioner/Organizational Partnership, $10:00 - Volunteer Tutor, $15:00 - Instructional/Individual, $30:00 - Organizational
