Service Description: A housing support service to the citizens of Chatham-Kent; to help prevent homelessness, and provide assistance to those in need of adequate, affordable, permanent housing

The Housing Support Services Program offers:
  • assistance to individuals and families with their housing goals 
  • support to tenants in their representations to landlords 
  • information to tenants on their rights and responsibilities 
  • referrals to other appropriate programs/Agencies
  • utility crisis (Winter Warmth and LEAP)

Who can benefit?
  • individuals in Transitional or temporary housing 
  • families and individuals with low income 
  • individuals facing eviction 
  • individuals who are homeless 
  • people living in sub-standard housing 
  • anyone wanting information about housing related issues

Fees: None
Application: Walk-in; Call for information, some programs require ID, income verification and other documents
