Service Description: A day medical facility based upon the harm reduction model

 Services include:
  • medical assistance in withdrawal from alcohol and opiates
  • home withdrawal management by the Sinclair method for alcohol
  • opiate replacement therapy
  • overdose prevention kits provided to patients
  • pain management
  • works with the ministry of transportation to support drivers to get their suspended driver license back
  • stop smoking program.
  • Hepatologist and specialized Hep c nurse to walk patients through the treatment, including finding coverage
  • personal drug testing (alcohol or other drugs) if client's needed help there are services available with the MD.
  • supports students and residents from universities and colleges who are seeking to learn more about addiction and mental health by hosting them during their clinical preceptorship

A Hep C treatment program is available on-site run by seven (7) physicians specializing in addictions medicine * on-site services include a Hep C nurse, intake and assessment staff, lab services and case management

Clinic staff also provides independent drug testing for the public, including employers, through an affiliated company * My tester drug testing and Methadone treatment available

Fees: Medical services are funded by OHIP - Personsl requests will be self pay
