Service Description:
|
Support services for francophone women victims or at risk of violence and abuse
- prevention of violence against women and their children through community awareness and education
- support during appointments (medical, police, government, etc)
- support for interpretation
- transitional support (housing, safety and transitional plans, etc)
- community outreach
- confidential individual or family counselling
- partnership with multiple organizations and community services
- partnership with francophone and French immersion schools
- referrals to community services and supports
- workshops, including developing personal safety plans and risk assessment skills
